Let's go to Montana de Oro

When friends Sue and Greig told us about the new accessible Bluff Trail at Montana de Oro State Park , we jumped at the chance to go explore one of the Central Coast's most beautiful areas. That it was a gorgeous April afternoon only added to our enthusiasm for getting out there.

The photos here show some of the scenes from this memorable tour, including one of the rattlesnake we encountered on the trail.

Bryan uses a chin-controlled power wheelchair. We had no trouble traveling over the smooth, hard and mostly level Bluff Trail. An accessible parking area has been added since our visit.
